I don't make jewelry. I made an exception.
A single strand only works if every pearl earns its place. At 9mm, matching a full strand becomes more demanding — size, near-round shape and lustre all have to sit together without one pearl pulling the line out of balance. Finding enough with the right brightness and character took longer than I expected. The design is the restraint: nothing else needed.
The bow clasp is the hinge of the whole idea — turn it to the back for a clean, unbroken line, or bring it to the front and let it become the focal point. Same necklace, two different reflections. You decide which one looks back at you.
For someone who doesn't need twelve charms to feel finished — one good line of pearls, worn exactly how she wants it, says enough.
